Story
Charlie is an 11 year-old Australian terrier who is energetic on walks but calm and cuddly in the house. Charlie is affectionate, calm around children, friendly and energetic around other dogs. Like most terriers, he barks at and will try to chase other animals but not aggressively. He needs a house that has an enclosed yard and/or to be let out for frequent potty breaks (~every 3hrs). He sits and is trainable, enjoys being in his kennel and kennels at night. Has some separation anxiety. His owner of ten years was struck by a car and suffered a traumatic brain injury, and is no longer able to care for him. Our family has taken him in temporarily, but unfortunately we aren't well-set up to care for a dog long term (no enclosed yard and we travel often). He deserves some happy golden years -terriers can live to 16!
