Updating info..... This sweet but quiet boy has been sad since his owner died. This has been hard on him as he was really bonded to her. He needs to be an only cat as he has dominate issues with other cats(even fixed submissive cats). I would also recommend no other animals. This boy NEEDS 2 cat boxes. He pees in 1 and poops in another and does not like auto cat boxes either. He is not a pick me up and cuddle me cat. He will sit near by and chill once settled. He will come out when he feels secure and safe in the space. He loves Empty boxes and will play, lay and scratch them. He eats dry food( left out daily but do not buy food before talking to the rescue if you bring this boy him, because he can only eat certain foods without getting sick). He does speak some times, and actually have heard him say" hello". He would need to start off in a bedroom to adjust to a new home with a cat post at least 4 ft tall with perches, 2 cat boxes, and food/ water bowls not any where near his boxes. and boxes to scratch/play. Also he is picky with toys too. He really is a good boy but just needs a special home, hes been waiting a while and may be depressed now cuz his only mom he has known is gone. He has heard My own dog bark as She goes with me when I go to help boarding cats. But he has never seen her(shes an old blind dog). This cat is an inside only cat, never been outdoors. He needs a forever home so he can bond to them, which may take up to 1 year for this kitty. He does come out when i give him a spoonful of wet food in his bowl. However, it has taken a while for him to get to this point to trust i wont grab to get him when i put the wet food out. He will sit within a few ft of me, knowing i wont try to pick up grab or touch him. I always say let the animal make the 1st move, which builds trust for them, to the human, He needs a patient home. I do not know the chip number off hand, but he is Chipped. Had shots, and flea prevention. DO NOT CONTACT IF PLANS TO DECLAW. Out of state placement for this cat is preferred(families request). Family of Owner wants a person that would love the breed and the cat, and know how to be patient and give space for him to adjust on his terms. And keep him for his entire life, not put him out for any reason. Fee applied for this to cover vet expenses. This kitty does ok with adult/senior dogs 15- 50lbs that do not chase him or go after him. He will go to the dog when he wants to play of cuddle with it. The dog must he FIXED and is better most with girl dogs then boy dogs. this cat would be ok with a Catio off a bedroom window that was secure. He does best in a home with at least 2-4 total kitty buddies. His size or bigger is ok, but he doesn't like dominate natured cats. He is on the thinner side. This kitty is on higher quality food and limited to a few types due to having minor IBS. He sometimes has accidents, but does try to get it on the kitchen floor as it easier to clean. He Will try to run out the door, so do not leave it open. He is very goofy at times. He has lots of traits but depends on the day which 1 he is. He is a very special cat and is Wet food motivated, or human food thief(watch your food closely, he has no boundaries with food). This kitty will win most peoples heart. This kitty needs a forever home. Situation with owner(had a brain aneurysm). As a result owner is not able to keep kitty or care for kitty the way it needs to be. Kitty did come from a breeder out of state, and does know about situation and ok'd to re-home it. Kitty developed IBS issues when it was over 1 year of age. And have gotten issues down to a minimal. This boy would Love to have a family of his own. There is a fee to help off set care needs of this kitty. This kitty will be chipped before he goes to a forever home. He does like to enjoy warmer weather, but not a fan of water/ baths,, PLEASE NO HOMES WITH CHILDREN. Meet Goodboy and his girlfriend, Sara. They are an adorable pair that will melt your heart. They are always together hugging and playing. Goodboy is your all around "great cat'. Friendly, fun, chill, and lovable. He is very social, loves everyone, and wants to be included. He follows you around to keep you company and watch what you're doing. He doesn't have much concept of boundaries. The minute you sit, he is there to join you. At your side or on your lap, he just wants to be near and loves being pet. When you lay down, he wastes no time snuggling right up. He likes to lean against you with your arm around him and snooze away for both his comfort and yours. A great companion who makes sure you feel loved and appreciated. While you're busy he naps on his own and sleeps in all kinds of crazy positions... body torqued, or on his back, arms sticking straight up in the air without a care in the world... you will find him spawled out differently every time you look and wonder when he moved like that, being he's in such deep sleep. He loves visitors and melts everyone's heart with his warm welcomes. He will greet them and go on their laps too, purring and expecting to be pet. Often he can be noticed randomly sticking out his tongue, which is a hoot. He'll do it long enough to get your camera and laugh at him. He loves praise and will wait all day for that little pat on the head and hear "such a gooood boy", his eyes close while he lifts his chin and proudly accepts your admiration. Goodboy found a compatible friend in foster, but his friend got adopted. Goodboy was devastated. Even though he had other friends here, he took it pretty hard and became withdrawn. That's when Sara came along. She was new here and stole his heart. Not at first though, bless her heart she worked hard to win him over and consoled his grief. We dont want him to experience another loss, so we allowed them the time to mend his heart and they bonded as a pair. She absolutely adores and follows him everywhere. They lay head to head, hugging and grooming each other. They are compatible playmates, chasing and wrestling, just having a ball. She restored his heart and likewise he is a source of confidence for her. Sara was scared when she came here. If a person even looked at her, she would dart into hiding. But her interest in Goodboy was greater than her fear of people and she modeled his courage. Soon she was comfortable in her environment, and loves to be pet. She is still quick when approached and starts to run away, but then she stops and looks at you, and drops submissively while you slowly approach at her level. She purrs and rolls around while you pet her, and curls her long tail with delight, proud of her own progress and always improving. She loves her favorite song "Sara" from Jefferson Starship. She is instantly calmed when you sing her the chorus, so don't be embarrassed and you will be rewarded with her trust. She has an adorable personality, young and fun, innocent and kittenish. She is happy and thankful, extremely well-mannered, and impressionable with all the potential to be a loving snuggler. Her hair is very soft and her beauty is stunning. She is a torti (tortoiseshell), est 2 years old, fixed and fully vetted. Goodboy is a tabby est 3 years old, also fixed and fully vetted.

Valerie was rescued from outside and had babies a week later. She was afraid of people and kept her distance, but was a good mother to her kittens. Once they were adopted, we began socializing her in a foster home. For a long time it was just a lot of talking and eye contact, eventually approaching and petting her. Once she learned petting is good, she was flopping and rolling and purring with delight and began seeking out the attention, instead of just waiting for it. She loves to be pet, and a good back scratchin' is enough to make her stop/drop/& roll. She rubs her tiny face in your hand while you scratch her cheeks and chin, looking up at you with the most adoring and thankful eyes. She also enjoys playing with her toys, and looking out the window. She cohabitates with other cats in foster, but has always remained independent of them. She wants to be an only cat, with a person all to herself. She waits for you to sit, so she can hop on the couch with you and lean in to your lap for pets, just purring away. She would stay and snuggle all day if she were the only cat, but in foster there is always another wanting to share the attention. She has no interest in sharing and will leave when others come up. She wants so badly to be the only one. Seemingly overlooked, she has waited a long time, ready to be someone's most loyal companion. She will do great in a calm, quiet home with just 1 or 2 people. She's a real sweetheart, tiny and petite, very soft, a beautiful light-silver tabby, about 5 years old, fixed and fully vetted.
