Story
TUNA is one brave girl. This darling orange cat was hit by a car. Her injuries were so severe that she had her front leg and most of her tail amputated. You would never know this cat is a tripod. She runs around like a gazelle. She is very sweet and overly playful. We know she has Egyptian Mau in her because of the polka dots on her tummy. As with Egyptian Mau cats they tend to have an active and mischievous streak in them. Tuna would do best in a active home with another cat or dog or children. Fostered in Fairfax

Story
Meet Gndolf! He is a 13-week-old kitten with gorgeous green eyes. Gandolf is sweet and playful. He is good with other cats and dogs and is friendly and loves everyone he meets. Because he is a very young kitten, he will need a home where someone is around a portion of the day OR have another playful cat to keep him company. This kitten is neutered, has age-appropriate vaccines, is microchipped. The adoption fee for this kitten is $150, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to help you to find a great match). Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** **You must be at least 25 years old to adopt an animal from Canines & Kitties Rescue.** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. Cats adopted through Canines & Kitties Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). *If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application. **
