SPECIAL NEEDS: He is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment. All meds needed to complete the treatment will be sent with him. VETTING: Fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped. Ready to give Dogbert the forever home of his dreams? Fill out our Adoption Application, located at The Bullpen Way Station & Sanctuary under the 'work with us' tab. We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Story
Helga is a 4 year old English Bulldog and weighs 38 pounds. This girl LOVES her toys, especially her tennis balls! Her favorite thing in the world is playing with her foster dad, especially playing tug or stalking her tennis balls. Helga also loves to cuddle and get scratches, and she can be the sweetest, funniest girl! Helga really doesn't like being in a crate, but she is completely housetrained and has never torn anything up. She does not get crated in her foster home, and she does very well. Helga has some behavioral issues that are being worked on with her veterinarian, her trainer, and her foster family and will need a home that does not have children and has experience with the English Bulldog breed. She has had surgery to correct her Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome and is in excellent health.
