Ace is a total people-lover who thrives on being by your side—or at least in the same room! Whether you're lounging around or getting things done, he’s always nearby, but when it's time for bed, he sleeps like a champ in his kennel. Ace is super food-motivated, and he’s learning his manners like a pro. He waits patiently in his kennel until you give the "okay" to eat—what a good boy! A couple of things to keep in mind: Ace can be quite the talker! You'll hear him barking as you leave and even when you’re pulling back into the garage. But no worries—he doesn’t jump up when you come in, so his greetings are polite! Also, Ace is a bit of a door darter, so be sure to keep an eye on him when opening doors. He’s marked a couple of spots inside once, but since then, nothing! I just make sure to let him out about 15-20 minutes after meals and every couple of hours, and it’s been smooth sailing. Ace gets along well with my little and medium-sized fosters, but he might not necessarily need a dog buddy in his new home. He’s got a strong prey drive—if a squirrel or rabbit shows up in the yard, he’s all over it, so we're not quite sure how he'd do with cats. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s great with routine and always up for a snuggle, Ace of Base might just be your perfect match!

Story
Winston will be 10 year old in February, he is a typical Frenchie, he is a Velcro Frenchie, wherever you go, he goes. Due to his age he is less active. He does not get along with other dogs and is very protective of his toys and food. He does not like you getting to close to his face and does not like it when you put your foot in his face. He is a calm dog but I do not think he would do well with small children. I bought Winston from a breeder from Kansas City and he has all his papers from that breeder. I want a kind and peaceful home for Winston, he picks up on when people around him are sad or angry, he is a very sensitive boy. I have a neighbor who wants to take Winston but he and his family are very emotional people and seem to get into a lot arguments. I do not want him around that type of home. To tell you the truth, I would rather hold him in my arms and watch him calmly go to sleep than put him in that type of environment.
