Story

Posted March 2024 Bitsy is a one year old bully breed mix who weighs approximately 50 lbs. She is great with other dogs and even likes cats. She is housebroken and crate trained. She would do best with older kids because she doesn’t realize how strong she is and might knock down a small child with her exuberance. There are no strangers in Bitsy’s world, she loves everyone she meets. She was found as a stray and luckily was saved by our southern rescue partners. When she was rescued she had a terrible case of demodex but with loving care and dedicated veterinary care she is all healed up and ready to roll. Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
