Posted March 2024 ​ Bitsy is a one year old bully breed mix who weighs approximately 50 lbs. She is great with other dogs and even likes cats. She is housebroken and crate trained. She would do best with older kids because she doesn’t realize how strong she is and might knock down a small child with her exuberance. There are no strangers in Bitsy’s world, she loves everyone she meets. She was found as a stray and luckily was saved by our southern rescue partners. When she was rescued she had a terrible case of demodex but with loving care and dedicated veterinary care she is all healed up and ready to roll. Check out our adoption application. ​ Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.

Come meet our adoptable dogs Wednesday 2-7, Thursday 4-7, Friday 4-7, and Saturday 11-3 at 114 Londonderry Turnpike in Hooksett NH. Please submit an application prior to Open House if you hope to adopt on Saturday. Appointments are also made for the dogs throughout the week. We ask that you do not email us through the Petfinder inquiry. Emails through Petfinder will more than likely not be answered due to volume of email we receive. Thank you for understanding. You can also follow us on Instagram at MotleyMuttsRescue. All Motley Mutts Rescue's puppies are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. All adult dogs are also tested for heartworm prior to transport that are older than 6 months. All puppies and adult dogs will have seen a NH vet for a health certificate within 14 days of adoption. *****Unless otherwise noted adoption fees range from $575 on adults and $650 on puppies and adults. Adoption fees reflect the costs we incur on vetting and transporting the dogs. All Motley Mutts are in NH for you to meet to see if there's a connection prior to adoption.
