Duke is a beautiful dog and loves attention . He has to be indoors due to his breed that needs to be cared for w air conditioning and heat. He has bursted of energy to play fetch or say hello to friends who visit but quickly needs a rest. He is 5 years old and has played w our grandchildren and one small Pomeranian dog. He will protect your house and family and loves chasing squirrels and cats away on the deck . He quickly begins to get tired and needs to be brought back indoors to rest and recoup. He would be perfect for a retired couple . Doesn’t do well with walks as he tires easily and can’t breath in the elements as well . We have health issues and our son has leukemia and needs special care now . We must unfortunately find him home asap.

As you now know, my name is Bones. As a Bulldog who was recently given a second chance at a better life, I am so grateful for the rescue experience thus far. He is great with cats and dogs that are his size and larger. He does jump and he is kennel trained. He needs work on the jumping and not grabbing food off the counter. He is a VERY loving boy who sometimes loves too hard for tiny humans.
