Squirt is a 4-year-old Old English Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This handsome guy is as loyal as they come—he absolutely loves his people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Whether it’s going for a stroll, taking a car ride, or relaxing together on the couch, Squirt is the perfect companion for it all.He has an eye condition called Dry Eye, which means he’ll need daily medication for the rest of his life. Don’t worry though—Squirt has been a champ about taking it here at the shelter! With a little routine and love, it’s easy to keep him comfortable and happy.Squirt enjoys his walks and gets excited to head out, though he can pull a bit at first before settling into a nice rhythm. Once he’s home, he’s all about lounging and soaking up the good life. He’s lived with other dogs before and done well, but we’re not sure how he feels about cats. Because of his solid bulldog build and enthusiasm, older children in their teens would be the best fit for him—he might accidentally knock over little ones during playtime.If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal, and affectionate friend who’s as happy exploring as he is napping by your side, Squirt is ready to steal your heart and become your favorite travel buddy.

*Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.* Jesse is a 1 1/2  year old mini bulldog mix looking for a great home! He is very sweet and social and does great with other dogs.  Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be. This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.   ##2071707##
