Story
🛑 CUTE PUP ALERT!!! 🛑 SHARE and help Roscoe find his home! ❤️ This happy boy has been looking for a place to call his own for a couple months now. Saved from euthanasia just in the nick of time only because he was one animal too many. We know that he wasn’t meant to leave that day and he wasn’t meant to live his life out in a shelter. He just needs that special someone to open their heart and home to him! He is a sweet boy who loves to play. He is UTD on all of his shots, neutered and in great health. He is 5-6 years old, would do best with older kids and as a only dog. Finally Home Animal Haven Adoption fee is $75

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fill out an Adoption Application Is your shadow letting you down? Is it proving to be just a fair weather friend? Are you looking for a new shadow? Well look no further! Meet Miss Bea, aka Meatball. She will happily take the place of your shadow (even on those rainy, gloomy days). She’ll never let you down! Likes: Miss Bea loves food, her people and belly and rump rubs. Pretty much any attention you give Miss Bea, she eats right up. Dislikes: According to Miss Bea, all vacuum cleaners need to die. Otherwise, Miss Bea complains about nothing. She has yet to meet a stranger (well, maybe the vet is just a teensy bit suspicious). Personality: Miss Bea is all wiggles and kisses. Temperament: Happy, happy, happy! Miss Bea is fine with brushing, though she can be wiggly happy during her spa sessions. She is also fine with having her nails done. Energy level: Even with her confirmation issues, Miss Bea is one energetic young lady…if only all that energy could be harnessed, dogs like Miss Bea could very well be the answer to the energy crisis! Favorite activities: Being with her people; eating; sleeping; snoring; chewing safe bones; stuffed and squeaky toys will be met with a swift death. Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Miss Bea has a high prey drive and, therefore, would not do well with cats or other small, non-canine critters. She has not yet been tested around young children, however, due to her enthusiasm and mouthiness, she would probably do best with teenagers.  Miss Bea does quite well with other dogs both male and female, big and small. However, she can initially come on a bit strong (think freight train). She would do best in a home with another dog that can keep up with her exuberance. Not good with: (Cats? Dogs? Strangers? Men? Kids?) - Cats and other small critters (she thought the chickens would make for fun, chaseable, squeaky toys). Housetrained: Yes Crate trained: Yes. Bribe her with a piece of cheese and she will go right in and settle down quickly. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence)? Yes Walks well on a leash? Miss Bea pulls a little but listens well and is very eager to please. Challenges: Dyson vacuums have nothing on Miss Bea! She will need a slow feeder bowl (the slower the better). Miss Bea is working on her mouthiness; taking treats gently; sharing toys; leash manners and jumping up. Any Medical issues? Miss Bea will be having an ortho consult to address her confirmation issues (which don’t slow her down or seem to affect her running and playing). She is currently receiving a daily Cosequin pill to help her joints stay as healthy as possible.  What would be the best kind of home? One with another doggie friend that matches her energy to play and cuddle with. Though she does well in her crate, someone who works from home would be an added bonus as Miss Bea adores her people. Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include, but are not limited to: pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Our rescue policy requires the following: Adopters must have their primary residence in one of the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. We will not adopt a giant breed dog to homes where the dog will have access to highly varnished hardwood steps inside the home. Any inside steps to which the dog(s) have access, must have carpeting, securely fixed stair treads, or a non-skid surface. We encourage you to remediate potential safety issues while your application is under review, prior to the home visit. Methods or devices using pain or force on the dog to control the dog, or to deter undesirable behavior is prohibited. Applications for giant breed dogs must be submitted by the property owner. Homes with children under 6 years of age will not be approved for adoption. Homes with children should have a fenced yard. Pets currently in the applicant's home must have a history of appropriate veterinary care. Veterinary records will be checked. All references must be checked before any visitation of the dog is permitted at the foster home. All family members must be present during the home visit to the applicant's home. Any dog(s) in the applicant's home must have an introductory meeting with the rescue dog being considered, before any adoption can be completed. Homes with intact dogs will not be approved for adoption. Exceptions to this policy can be found on the Adoptable Dog Page. Story
Sibbie is a sweet girl on the search for a patient forever home. She has an unknown-but stable neurological disorder. This means she has a few funny quirks. She sometimes licks her lips and even gallops like a horse every once in a while. She doesn't let this stop her from having an amazing time when out with staff and volunteers. Sibbie is kind, gentle, and very smart. Ask to learn more about Sibbie today!
