Story
Meet this handsome 1-year-old bulldog mix with a huge personality and even bigger heart! He’s still very much a puppy at heart — active, playful, goofy, and always ready to make you laugh. Like many young dogs, he can get a little mouthy and bouncy when he gets excited, so he’ll need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him learn good manners.
This sweet boy hasn’t had the easiest start in life and appears to have been mistreated, especially by men. Because of that, he feels most comfortable with women and would thrive in a female-only home. In his words: “Who needs a man when you’ve got me?” While he may be able to live with a patient man, it will take time, understanding, and slow introductions for him to build trust.
Due to his puppy-like energy, mouthiness, and insecurities, he would do best in a home without small children. He’s looking for a calm, patient family that can help him continue gaining confidence and feeling safe. He may also do best as the only dog so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself, though he has done well around cats.
Once he trusts you, he is incredibly loyal, loving, and full of personality. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be your shadow, your best friend, and your biggest source of entertainment all wrapped into one adorable bulldog mix package.
