Victor is a 1.5-year-old male, 43 lbs, with a heart full of trust; he`s still learning to give away freely. He came to us as a stray, scared and underweight, but he`s been quietly rewriting his story ever since.`He came in scared and super skinny... After he was done sniffing, he just wanted affection,` said a volunteer.He`s gaining weight, gaining confidence, and reminding everyone who spends time with him why this work matters. He`s a hound, so yes, a scent might steal his attention mid-play — but he checks in. He looks back. He wants to be with you. He`s good with other dogs, walks beautifully on leash, and when something startled him at the fence, he didn`t run away — he ran to the volunteer walking him. That instinct to seek safety in a person? That`s everything.Victor has so much training potential ahead of him and plenty of love to give. He`s ready for a home where he can finally exhale. If you`ve been looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who just needs a soft landing — he`s been looking for you, too.Good with other dogs! Walks well on a leash! Affectionate & playful!

I am a very sweet boy with a gentle heart who might seem a bit shy at first, but will shower you with love and show off my silly side once I warm up a bit. I take treats gently, play nicely with other dogs, and walk very nicely on a leash. I should mention that long strolls and sniffaris are my absolute favorite! I am also still a young boy with a lot of training potential. I am just looking for my forever family to shower me with endless love and loyalty, and one who will let me tag along on all of life’s adventures. If you are looking for a loving and loyal best friend who will brighten all of your days - I’m your guy! Weighs around 60 lbs - Great with other dogs and people!
