Meet Stanlee, a sweet, gentle, seven-year-old Tree Walking Coonhound mix with a heart as big as his 70-pound frame. Born in October 2018, Stanlee is a loyal family companion who loves nothing more than being near his people — preferably stretched out on the couch, soaking up the cozy vibes.Stanlee has an easygoing temperament and has done wonderfully with children and most adults. He can be a little cautious around unfamiliar men at first, but once he has a moment to meet them, he warms up quickly and shows his affectionate side. He’s also lived around other animals and gets along with most of them, though he’ll happily announce visitors or protect his space with his signature hound bark.While Stanlee is a champion couch potato, he still enjoys bursts of playful energy — especially backyard chase games. He’s vocal when he needs something (like a refill on food or water or a trip outside), but he’s never shown any signs of biting or aggression.Stanlee does shed and has some seasonal allergies that require year-round attention, but he’s cooperative and easy to manage with a consistent routine.With his handsome black, tan, and white coat and his loving, loyal nature, Stanlee is ready to bring joy, companionship, and plenty of snuggles to a new forever home.
