My adoption fee has been fully sponsored. Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!Hi there! I am a handsome, large-sized, chill and curious fella looking for a furever home. I am a hound, so I love going for walks, sniffing around and seeing the big wide world. I am good on a leash, attentive and friendly with the staff, and show I’m a happy guy by my engaged walking, tail wagging and an occasional happy barking when I see something interesting on the trail. My previous owner mentioned that I do well around new people and have done ok around other dogs in the past, but staff still recommends slow and monitored introductions to any new people and animals in the home. Staff also determined I do have ear infections that are being treated., but it’s expected that continued treatment will heal the infection and associated wounds. Please ask staff if you have any more questions about me. I can`t wait to meet you :) I am currently available in my foster home. If you are interested in meeting with me, please fill out an interest form https://airtable.com/shrWv1TWfsw834pBd

Story
Hi Friends! My name is Ellie - nicknames include Ellie Belly, Ellie Jelly, or Ellie girl. I walk very good on a leash - I don’t pull, or drag. I use the bathroom on a leash - I prefer to use the bathroom in the same spot. I love to go on nature walks or any public trail, new smells are the best along with a car ride! I jump right in for the new adventure. I’m a gentle soul that needs another gentle soul. New people and sounds can sometimes be scary. I am crate trained at home and on car rides for my safety. I am fully house trained. I love living with cats and other dogs. I love my fur family. I do great with any dog all sizes, genders and breeds. I would prefer to go to a home with other fur animals. I am such a good girl I don’t mind anyone trimming my toes or giving me a bath. Please consider me as your new companion. I am looking for my forever home and human. Could it be you? I have a few restrictions to adopting me but not much! I am required to be leashed when outside, my nose takes my body wherever it wants to go I can’t help it. I can jump fences, gates, and kennels, I have legs of a kangaroo and a nose of an elephant. I am 4 years old and weigh around 35 pounds. Our adoption fee is $235, payable during a successful meet and greet. Please submit an inquiry or email us for our adoption application. Farm Friends Rescue often receives more adoption applications than we have dogs in our program. We are a team of volunteers and processing those applications takes time and resources. Placing one of our dogs into a home is a responsibility that we take seriously. Our goal is to find the best forever family for each and every dog.

These pups are in Wake Forest, North Carolina too!

Story
Raj, formerly known as Rags, come to us from a local shelter on his day of euthanasia. He was helped by a team of volunteer to be saved. He is about 10 years old, 95 lbs hound mix. He is sweet and gentle and thankful for a soft place to land with his foster. Raj is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and HW-. He gets along well with dogs but should be fed separately to avoid any resource guarding. Raj sleeps well in his crate on his comfy bed and is just a generally laid back sweet ole guy. He also rides really well in cars and enjoys looking out at the scenery. His adoption donation is $200 and you can apply for him at apply.neshamarescue.org

Story
Awwwoooooo! Thats just Lucia saying hello! This sweet, approximately 3-4 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound loves to run and romp, so ideally her forever home will have a big backyard for her to do just that. Saved from a rural shelter, her foster mom describes her as, "Seriously the sweetest, most loving angel!!! " She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and being treated for HW by the rescue. She is crate trained, walks well on leash and loves to play, so she would do well in a home with other dogs. Lucia also excels at giving hugs, so please only apply if you want/need hugs from a sweet hound dog! Please apply for her at apply.neshamarescue.org
