Howdy! I’m Colt, and I’m back on the search for my true forever home. At 3 years old and a sturdy 40 pounds, I am a handsome Coonhound mix with a heart of gold. I’m a total social butterfly who loves people, fetch, and making new friends—I even get along great with cats! I already know `sit` and I’m a total gentleman on a leash, but my favorite thing in the world is simply being near my humans.I recently learned that I’m not a fan of the solo life or apartment living. I have a lot of love to give and I get a little lonely when I`m left all by myself, so I`m looking for a house with a yard where I can feel settled. I would do best in a home where my owners are home more often or, even better, where there is another dog sibling to keep me company and show me the ropes! If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be part of your `pack,` I’m your boy. Apply to meet me today!NOTE: every dog, cat and child will react differently to a new pet, so proper and safe introductions are always important for a smooth and successful transition.My adoption fee is $225.We do not have open hours for public viewing of our adoptable animals.
