This 2–3-year-old English Setter/Bluetick Coonhound mix is built a little more like a mini horse—but he'd still be perfectly happy trying to climb into your lap!Despite his size at 66 lbs, Tater is an incredibly gentle guy. At his photo session, he impressed everyone with his calm, sweet nature and how nicely he walked on leash. He absolutely loved soaking up attention and affection, and his goofy personality quickly had everyone smiling.Tater seems young at heart, with nice teeth and plenty of silly charm, but he wasn't wild or overwhelming. Instead, he came across as an easygoing, affectionate dog who simply enjoys being close to his people.And just look at that coat! His gorgeous blue-speckled coloring makes him hard to miss, but it's his gentle personality that really wins you over.If you're looking for a big, goofy, sweet-natured companion who may occasionally forget just how big he is, come meet Tater. Charlie is back with us to find a calm, quiet home without small children. We are thinking she would do best in a home with teenagers and older. Her previous owners did say that she has some food aggression and will need to eat by herself away from other animals and people. She can be a little shy and uncertain at times when she first meets someone new. Charlie does not seem to pay attention to our house cats here and seems to do well in here our other dogs here. We always do a meet and greet with any dogs in the home or visit frequently. If you are interested in meeting Charlie please fill out an online application and if approved we will schedule a time for you to visit with her.
