Meet Tommy! 🐾 Tommy is a Golden Retriever mix, possibly with Boxer, and is around 2 years old. Despite a difficult past, he is one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs you could meet. He loves walks, toys, treats, and being close to his person whenever possible. Tommy does have a bite history and territorial tendencies, so he would do best as the only dog in a calm, experienced home where he can receive plenty of attention, patience, and structure. He is currently dealing with left hip issues and will be receiving surgery soon, along with possible neurological concerns. Even through these challenges, Tommy remains loving, affectionate, and eager to bond with people. He is truly a special boy looking for a forever home and someone willing to give him the second chance he deserves. ❤️

Don’t let my age fool you—I still love leisurely walks, relaxing with my people, and soaking up belly rubs and ear scratches. My favorite thing in the world? SNACKS! 😁I’m gentle, calm, and great with kids and other animals. I’m also a loyal protector who will let you know when someone is at the door…or when a suspicious leaf lands across the yard! Once I know everything is okay, I’m happy to relax by your side.Thunderstorms make me a little nervous, so I appreciate extra comfort when the weather gets loud.My family loves me very much, but because of changes in their circumstances, they’re hoping to find me a home where I’ll receive all the love, attention, and companionship I deserve.Could I be your new best friend? ❤️🐾
