Meet Leah, an almost six-year-old Shepherd/Retriever mix weighing 74 pounds.Leah is a sweet, friendly girl who was owner-surrendered to animal control along with another dog. While she may seem a little shy in her kennel, don’t let that fool you — once the door opens, she transforms into a happy, playful, and affectionate companion.She’s great on leash, well-mannered, and has a chill, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to spend time with. Leah also has unique brindle markings that make her stand out in the best way, and she loves toys and squeakers, adding a fun playful side to her otherwise relaxed demeanor. She came in microchipped as a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix so that might be in there but she is definitely a mix. Leah is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to shine and show off her sweet, friendly personality. She’s the perfect mix of playful and chill, ready to become a loyal and delightful part of your family. Leah isn`t a huge fan of other dogs in her space and would love to be your one and only or be in a household with low-key dogs that don`t want to play.This pet is available for adoption on 2.17.26 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
