Story
Meet Rad! Rad is a handsome 14-month-old dog with a bright personality and lots of potential. His breed is listed as an English Shepherd mix with Border Collie, though this is a best guess based solely on his visible characteristics. What we know for sure is that Rad is an energetic, intelligent young dog who is ready to find a home that will help him thrive. While we don’t have much background history on him, Rad has shown himself to be a sweet and friendly dog who is eager to connect with people and other dogs. He would especially love to go home with another dog who is looking for a playful companion—having a dog buddy to run, wrestle, and burn off energy with would be a dream come true for him. As a young, high-energy dog, Rad is looking for a home that can provide structure, consistency, and a solid daily routine. Regular exercise, mental enrichment, and positive guidance will help him be his best self. Whether that’s long walks, playtime in the yard, training sessions, or having a canine playmate, Rad will do best with an active lifestyle that matches his enthusiasm. Rad is the kind of dog who will flourish with someone willing to invest time and patience into his routine and training. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, affectionate companion who is excited to be part of a family. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic dog who would love both human connection and a dog friend, Rad may be the perfect addition to your home. Rad is available for adoption at Butte Humane Society 📍 13391 Garner Lane, Chico, CA 📞 530-343-7917 🌐 buttehumane.org Come meet Rad and see if he’s the playful partner you’ve been waiting for! 🐾 All dogs that are adopted from Butte Humane Society come microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, placed on preventions for heartworm, and flea and tick-borne illnesses. Story
Misha is a Shepherd mix, estimated DOB is 5/2025 and she currently weighs 54 lbs. She is very smart, walks great on a leash, and loves to ride in the car. She knows basic commands. She loves to play with her toys and run through the water. She is crate trained and gets along with the dogs she currently lives with. Misha is timid when meeting new people, especially with men and young children. Her ideal home would be one with room to run and play, so no apartments. She needs a person who has the experience, time, and patience working with a timid dog and is willing to continue her training. Young children may overwhelm her; she would do best with no children or respectful children over twelve. A home with another confident dog buddy or a person that is not gone long hours during the day. Misha loves to be with her person, so she would love to find a home with a family that is committed to taking her on daily walks, have outside playtime, and that would include her in other activities and outings. Misha is a wonderful girl and will make a great companion for the right family!
