Story
Hello, I'm Dutch! Rescued in Georgia, I found my way to Big Dog Ranch with my favorite playmate from my previous home. I had a loving family for three years, but sadly, they couldn't take me along when they moved. I'll miss them, but I'm excited to meet my new person. I'm a fun-loving guy, always up for a run and play. While I enjoy canine pals, I can be a bit selective. I thrive in an adult environment or one with older kids, where I can safely release my energy. An experienced dog owner would be perfect to help me learn and grow! A spacious yard would be awesome for my playtime, but I'm versatile and love cuddles on the couch. Ongoing training is on my agenda, but I'm already quite skilled on a leash. Just so you know, no cats for me. I'm somewhat potty trained, crate trained, and as mentioned a pro on a leash. I try to be as obedient as possible too. If you're ready for a spirited companion give me a chance to be a new addition to your family!

These pups are in Fort Pierce, Florida too!

Story
Scherzer is almost four years old and we have had him since he was a puppy. Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful in getting him potty trained. We have two other dogs that we potty trained with no problem so we are completely stumped on why Scherzer still has accidents. I had him checked for a UTI awhile ago and the vet said there was nothing medically wrong with him. Within the last year he has also become extremely anxious. We used to take him to the dog beach but the last time we went, he wouldn't let anyone near us without barking and he got into a minor fight with another dog over a toy. Luckily nobody was hurt. Now we have a baby and I don’t want to have to worry about her crawling into a puddle of pee. I’m hoping that there is someone out there that is willing to work with him and give him a good home. He is very sweet and likes to cuddle.

Story
Marty is such a handsome fella. A strapping young lad, you might say! He's a young black and white short haired shepherd, just over a year old and around 55lbs. His facial features definitely show signs of bull terrier. He has pointed ears that shoot up or down to adorably portray his excitement and curiosity. He's a serious wiggle-butt. He's always in a great mood, happy-go-lucky with a playful and innocent young-dog demeanor. He loves exercise, whether it be playing with all of his dog friends (he's super dog friendly), going on a bike ride alongside you on a leash, or going for a walk/run. If you're looking for a dog to go on adventures with, he's your guy! He would do best in a home with an active family. A canine brother or sister would be a nice bonus, he loves to have someone to play with! He loves all humans and craves your attention. He has not been tested with cats, but he's a loving creature and would likely be OK with a feline companion in the home. After a decompression period away from the kennel environment he would likely do fine with kids in the home! Don't pass on the chance to meet this cute guy! He'll pull at your heart strings from the second you meet him. If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS!Apply at pawsfurrecovery.orgWe look forward to receiving your application and will process it within 3 days.If you meet requirements we will call you. Thanks for your interest in this amazing rescue dog!April 19, 2024, 2:30 am

Story
Hello there, I'm Daisy! At 8 years young, I've got a heart full of love to give you! My friends say I'm sweet, friendly, and smart, but I'll let you be the judge of that. I'm independent, preferring my own company to other dogs or cats, but I promise I'll be the best companion you could ask for. I'm mellow and cuddly, always ready for a gentle pat or a quiet evening in. Being a border collie mix, I'm smart, house-trained and loyal. I'm looking for a forever home where I can chill out on the couch with you and go for walks on the beach or in the park. Adopt me and I'll show you just how much love a senior dog has to give!
