Mokasin seems to have missed the memo about “stranger danger” because this boy is fully committed to making friends wherever he goes. He has already shown himself to be affectionate, playful, and delightfully goofy, happily rolling onto his back for belly rubs and handing out kisses whenever the opportunity presents itself. He is the kind of dog who wants to be part of the action and close to his people, whether that means sitting beside you for attention or greeting you excitedly at the run door, ready for the next adventure. While he can be a little nervous in new situations at first, Mokasin settles quickly and has shown that he is easy to leash, walks nicely, and responds well to gentle interaction. He has an expressive, silly personality that already shines through despite all the changes around him. Future adopters should know he is enthusiastic about affection and may occasionally aim those kisses directly at your face if you are not paying attention fast enough. Mokasin feels like the kind of dog who will bring a lot of laughter and companionship into a home, especially for someone who appreciates a loving dog with a playful streak and a big heart.
