Story
Moose was brought to our home by our son. My son, Nolan, adopted Moose because he was owned by his girlfriend's neighbor. My son believed that they abused him because he frights easily at first. But, once he knows he can trust you, he is an amazing dog. It took a couple of weeks (we have had him since August 2025), and he trusted me, and he now licks my face and hugs me when I get home from work. He is trained, and we don't even require him to be on a leash unless we are going on a walk. He stays in our yard, and when I say, "Come" he comes and sits beside me...even if people are walking by. We already have 2 dogs, and my son went to a Bible College in Alaska. We live in North Carolina. We are just not prepared to care for 3 dogs. I am on the road a lot with my job, and my wife suffers from Chronic Lyme Disease. We just want Moose to go to a home full of love for him. He deserves it.
