Story
Ruthie, 7yo has been with me since she was a puppy in OH. We moved to NYC 3 years ago and though city life has been difficult, I am ultimately unable to keep her because she cannot get along with my partners animals. Ruthie is extremely friendly with all adults, but is reactive aggressive with dogs and cats. It is extremely important that she is not living with any other pets or small children. Last year she did an 8 week board and train, but it unfortunately hasn’t been successful in addressing the reactivity/aggression to the point where she can safely live with other pets. Her basic obedience training is good, but she still struggles with separation anxiety. She’s very relaxed inside and loves to cuddle and be near people. Fetch it her favorite! She’s truly an amazing dog. This is a very heartbreaking decision, but I know she deserves a calm home and plenty of space to run which I can’t give her. I’m in no rush to find her a new home as I want to find her the best fit possible.
