Meet Vinnie! He had been born at WAG in November 2023 and adopted as a puppy. His previous owners did a wonderful job socializing him, but the shedding got to be a bit much for allergies, so he ended up being returned at a year and a half old. Despite looking a bit like a beagle, he surprisingly has no beagle in his genes. Vinnie is springer spaniel, Chihuahua, and several other breeds wrapped up into a short-legged, 40 pound package. Vinnie does well with people and other dogs. His ideal home would have people that can include him in their outings, perhaps a friendly dog, and maybe even some school-aged children. Vinnie seems a bit too interested in cats, so he would do better in a home without cats.
