Meet Dax! This darling boy will snuggle his way into your heart. With his soulful, sweet gaze,this incredibly patient and loving boy waits for a forever home. He is about 9 years old, and enjoys time on the couch and on laps. He prefers snuggles to playtime, but has shown interest in toys and chewy bones. He is house trained, kennel trained, non destructive, and walks calmly on a leash. He is good with other dogs, people, and cats. Dax's passion for snuggling knows no bounds, so his person will have to be willing to engage in a lot of hugs and pets. His calm disposition makes for an ideal friend and companion. Approximate Birthdate: July 2016 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more For more information please fill out an application.
