Story
Weight: 67Lbs Meet Apollo 🐾 Apollo is a male Bernese Mountain Dog mix, meaning he got the sweet, soulful charm of a Bernese Mountain Dog — just with the “light drool” setting. Originally bred as hardworking Swiss farm dogs, Berners are loyal, affectionate, and love being close to their people. Apollo takes this job seriously by: • Sitting like a distinguished gentleman • Shaking paws like he’s closing a business deal • Performing the famous Berner Lean™ (full-body cuddle mode activated) He believes personal space is optional, every guest came to see him, and snow is a lifestyle. 100% sweet. 200% fluff. Zero drool puddles. 💙 Dogs: Yes, although we recommend a meet and greet! Cats: Unknown Kids: Unknown, bring the whole family in!!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.adoption fee $350.00**PLEASE READ FULL BIO - SPECIAL NEEDS DOG** Bailey is a beautiful, sensitive girl with special needs who is going to require a very special adopter—someone patient, present, and willing to let her move at her own pace. She’s not a “plug-and-play” dog, but for the right person, she will be an incredibly meaningful companion.  She won't seek out attention or cuddles, but won't shy away from them either. &#226&#156&#168 What Bailey Does Well Fully potty trained in her foster home and in new environments Crate trained and sleeps soundly overnight (goes in willingly when called!) Does great with baths, brushing, and grooming Calm, quiet, and non-destructive Heavy leash puller at times, but manageable with consistency and confidence Bailey will do best in a home with a VERY present person (retired, work from home) and possibly a kind dog friend to help her gain confidfence.  Bailey will need a calm, and relatively quiet home. She is happy to learn -- she just needs a loving place to understand how to navigate dog life.***Bailey will require regular grooming and monthly anxiety meds.  Expected cost of the medication is around $10-$20 per month.*** Bailey is ready to bring warmth and companionship to the right family. If you’re looking for a loyal friend with a big heart, Bailey might be the perfect match! New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
