European Burmese kittens & cats in New Bern, North Carolina

I adopted Gracie from the humane society in 2016. She is 7 years old. She has lived in houses, apartments and townhomes and acclimates well. She does not get along with other cats, but she does like some dogs. She loves my parent's Golden Retriever and actually cuddles with her sometimes. She can be a little bit skittish with loud noises or new people. She does not like the tv, but as soon as the tv goes off she loves to cuddle and sleep with you. She currently takes Gabapentin when needed for stress, but does not need it all the time. She is house broken and has never used the bathroom outside of the litter box. I am heartbroken we have to rehome her, but we are downsizing our home, and my husband's son is allergic. Gracie needs someone who will be patient with her in the beginning while she is getting used to her new home. She would do very well in a quieter home with older children or no children at all. She will be your best friend if you give her tuna treats!
