Story
Kitty is about 16 years old, and the sweetest little lady. We adopted her around age 2 as the children in the home she was living in developed allergies. We are heartbroken to be in a position to rehome her, but as she has gotten older and slower, our two younger cats bully her. She is not happy being kept in a separate part of the house, but is not safe to roam around freely because of how the other cats treat her. Based on this, we think she would do best in a situation where she is the only pet. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and very healthy. She has lived exclusively indoors since we adopted her. She is so sweet and cuddly, and just loves to sleep in a quiet sunny window or on your lap. Please let us know if you think your home is the right fit for our sweet girl.

Story
Before we got to know Binx, he had been the housepet of someone in Georgia who became ill with cancer. Binx's former owner for whatever reason left Binx outside and he then became the neighborhood's cat. Our friend who lived in the neighborhood later noticed that he was ill, took him to the vet, and arranged for Binx to receive about $1400 worth of care for stomatitis and tooth extraction. Our family had recently lost our black cat to kidney disease and agreed to take Binx following his surgery. He recovered very well and received follow up care with Angels of Assisi. From the beginning Binx and our other cat did not get along, but Binx was always friendly and affectionate with all the humans, including a four and twelve year old. He loves to be petted, will follow us around the house, and will make sure we know he wants to be with us. He is a sweet, affectionate boy to all the humans, but the cat relationship is not working out. We are sad to decide that he must go to another home.
