Zico is a sweet 4-year-old cat. He is affectionate and loves to cuddle - especially when he decides it's time for attention. He has a gentle personality and is not aggressive or prone to fighting. However, he becomes very stressed when sharing space with the other cats - we have 2 more, even though his stress isn't always obvious. He marks his territory by urinating on couches, beds, and any other areas where the other cats have been.We were advised to rehome him 2 years ago, and during that time, we tried everything we could to help him adjust because we truly wanted to keep our family together. Unfortunately, any improvement has only lasted a few days before the marking begins again—often after another cat has been resting in a particular spot.Our vet advised that Zico needs to be the only pet.  This is an incredibly difficult decision because we love him dearly, but we believe he deserves a calm and stress-free home where he can feel safe and receive all the attention he deserves.

Vulcan is a 5‑year‑old cat with a wonderfully balanced personality. He’s playful enough to bring joy, affectionate enough to bond easily, and naturally docile, making him a calm presence in the home. He maintains a healthy weight and has never struggled with overeating. Vulcan has lived harmoniously with both dogs and cats his entire life, showing no behavioral issues. His easygoing nature and social background make him well‑suited for households with other pets or for anyone seeking a loving, adaptable companion.

Juniper's backstory: Circa Jan '25... in the wee small hours of the morning, we were blessed to have our personal truck (a 4x4) to access offroad jeep trails in the big scrub. We were on a mission to find an emaciated cat, posted by a good Samaritan to Facebook a few days prior. She was many miles from civilization in the Ocala National Forest... it's difficult to imagine an innocent explanation for her being THAT far out. We had GPS coordinates for navigation. She had been out in the scrub for awhile. She was famished and her skeleton visible. Her body condition score was 1/9 and even THAT felt generous. She had to take multiple small meals to prevent refeeding syndrome. When an animal is starved for a period of time, it's important to gradually re-introduce nutrition. The cat was so hungry that she wanted to eat all the food.... but her body would shut down if we allowed her to do that. She could have seizures, enter a coma or even die if we did not adhere to the precautions. *Juniper is estimated at about 4 yrs of age. She is fully vetted and gets along with other cats. Looking for a Forever Home 🐾❤️ We are looking for a loving forever home for our sweet cat. This is not an easy decision, but right now we simply don’t have the time or financial resources she deserves. She is a very sweet girl who needs someone who can give her lots of love, attention, patience, and TLC. Unfortunately, she and our other cat are not getting along, and she has started acting out because of the situation. We truly believe she would thrive in a home where she can receive the one-on-one attention she needs and feel safe, loved, and comfortable. This is not a decision we are taking lightly.
