Weighing in around 25 pounds and working toward a healthy 20, Georgie may be small, but she’s full of quiet resilience. Georgie is a shy and sensitive girl who has likely experienced more than her fair share of hardship. She’s still learning that people can be kind and gentle, so she’s not a cuddler (yet!) and prefers her own space — usually in a cozy kennel or soft dog bed. She’s not the type to seek out affection, but with patience, she becomes a quiet companion who follows her trusted human from room to room like a little shadow. She feels most comfortable around other dogs and would do best in a home with a calm, confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. With time, she’ll even get playful in the backyard with a dog friend she trusts. Her nighttime ritual includes a beloved dental chew — even though she’s a bit tooth-challenged, it’s her favorite treat. Georgie is fully potty trained and is beginning to respond to her name and simple commands, though she’ll need to drag a leash for a while as she continues to build confidence. Her progress may be slow, but every step is a quiet victory. Georgie needs a calm environment with patient, understanding humans who can offer her consistency, space, and the freedom to come out of her shell in her own time. If you believe love is about meeting someone where they are — and waiting as long as it takes — Georgie might just be your perfect match.

Charlie is a very affectionate, loving, and silly 2 year old purebred Golden Retriever. He loves to cuddle and play fetch. When it comes to a new home, Charlie would be great just about anywhere. He loves people of all ages, he does amazing with kids, and he loves other animals. It does take him some time to warm up to other dogs (he's had an issue with another male dog), but I have never had an issue with him when it comes to human beings or cats. He loves everyone!

Hi there! My name is Charlie, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home. I’m a very active guy with tons of energy, and my absolute favorite thing in the world is playing ball. I could play fetch all day long if you let me! I love attention and will happily soak up all the pets I can get, especially belly rubs (those are the best!). I would really love to be adopted together with my best friend Maisie. We came from the same home and do everything side by side. We love running around and playing outside together, and I help Maisie feel safe and calm when she gets a little anxious. I’m a smart boy too! I already know how to sit and lie down, and I’m excited to keep learning more tricks and commands. I’m also crate trained and potty trained, so I already have some great manners. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion (or even better, two!), I’d love to meet you. I promise endless games of fetch, lots of belly rub requests, and a whole lot of love.
