Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. Eddie is a Irish setter doodle! He is definitely a people person. He loves to snuggle, be pet and have nap time with his human. Eddie is crate and potty trained. He loves to be outside. He is anxious a bit in the car, so a seatbelt harness is helpful. He is working on leash handling with his trainer. Eddie would do best in a single dog household, but he is working with his trainer on being respectful of other dogs. Eddie is very sweet and inquisitive, he loves to watch tv. He always wants to know where his human is and likes to spend time with them.
