Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Abby is a delicate little Goldendoodle who has just begun her new life as a cherished pet after being released from breeding. She’s shy, cautious, and still figuring out the world — but every day she shows more curiosity, more bravery, and more tail wags. Soft voices, slow movements, and sweet baby talk are quickly becoming her comfort zone. Although Abby is still nervous, we truly believe she will blossom even faster in her forever home, surrounded by consistent love, patience, and understanding. Personality & Daily Life Abby has a gentle, sweet nature. She startles easily with loud noises or quick movements, but she has zero aggression — her reactions are purely fear-based avoidance. With steady reassurance, she’s making meaningful progress in trusting people and settling into daily routines. Dog Friends & Socialization Abby absolutely lights up around other dogs. She loves outdoor play and gains confidence by following her canine friends. A confident, friendly resident dog will be incredibly important in helping her continue to grow and feel secure. Learning & Home Requirements Abby is still new to typical pet life and needs a home committed to slow, positive guidance. Not leash trained Fully fenced yard required (no invisible fences) Considered a flight risk, especially early on Best suited for a calm, patient home with no young children Home Life Abby is crated when her foster family is away for safety, but otherwise enjoys free run of the house. She is still working on house-training and will go outside when following other dogs, though she isn’t confident enough to go independently yet. Overnight, she uses pee pads. Abby’s Perfect Match Abby needs a peaceful home, a secure fenced yard, and a loving adopter who understands that trust takes time. With patience, kindness, and a steady canine companion, Abby will continue her transformation from timid to thriving — and sooner rather than later. She may start off quiet and unsure, but she has so much love waiting for the right person to discover.   Abby is spayed, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475 We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2026, 3:25 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Dustin (Dusty Butt!) Dustin — affectionately known as Dusty Butt — is a joyful, curious, and affectionate Mini Goldendoodle puppy who has been loved and cared for since the moment he was born into rescue. He was initially held back from adoption because he knocked out his lower baby teeth, but after a full veterinary exam, we’re happy to report no concerns . His adult teeth will either push the roots out naturally, or they can be removed at the time of his neuter. Other than that, Dustin is happy, healthy, and thriving .   Personality & Socialization Dustin has a bright, charming personality and a playful spirit that shines through in everything he does. He loves exploring, wrestling with his littermates, and curling up for snuggles when he’s ready to rest. He has been well socialized and does wonderfully with: Other dogs People of all ages Cats He enjoys human attention, playtime, and cuddles, and he’s eager to bond with his future family.   Training & Puppy Needs Like most young puppies, Dustin is still learning the basics. He is not yet house‑trained, crate‑trained, or leash‑trained, so adopters should be prepared to continue his training with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. With guidance and structure, Dustin has all the potential to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. Because he is a mixed‑breed puppy, we cannot guarantee adult size, coat type, shedding level, or hypoallergenic qualities. While often referred to as “doodles,” it’s important to remember that doodles are mixes, and traits vary from puppy to puppy. Adoption Details The adoption fee for each puppy is $800. All puppies are  up to date on age‑appropriate core vaccinations , have been  microchipped , and have been  dewormed multiple times , ensuring they are off to a healthy and happy start. If a puppy is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, adopters will be required to sign a spay/neuter contract, with surgery scheduled at EACH to be determined date in May. The cost of the neuter is included in the adoption fee.  In accordance with New York State Agriculture & Markets Law § 377A, there will be an additional $35 refundable fee, which will be returned once the puppy has been spayed or neutered.  To help set adopters and puppies up for success, Pixie Mamas Rescue is providing two free training classes in May through On Your Best Behavior. These classes are offered at no cost to adoptive families, and a $50 refund will be issued upon completion of both classes as encouragement for early training and positive behavior development.
