Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Dustin (Dusty Butt!) Dustin — affectionately known as Dusty Butt — is a joyful, curious, and affectionate Mini Goldendoodle puppy who has been loved and cared for since the moment he was born into rescue. He was initially held back from adoption because he knocked out his lower baby teeth, but after a full veterinary exam, we’re happy to report no concerns . His adult teeth will either push the roots out naturally, or they can be removed at the time of his neuter. Other than that, Dustin is happy, healthy, and thriving . Personality & Socialization Dustin has a bright, charming personality and a playful spirit that shines through in everything he does. He loves exploring, wrestling with his littermates, and curling up for snuggles when he’s ready to rest. He has been well socialized and does wonderfully with: Other dogs People of all ages Cats He enjoys human attention, playtime, and cuddles, and he’s eager to bond with his future family. Training & Puppy Needs Like most young puppies, Dustin is still learning the basics. He is not yet houseâtrained, crateâtrained, or leashâtrained, so adopters should be prepared to continue his training with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. With guidance and structure, Dustin has all the potential to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. Because he is a mixedâbreed puppy, we cannot guarantee adult size, coat type, shedding level, or hypoallergenic qualities. While often referred to as “doodles,” it’s important to remember that doodles are mixes, and traits vary from puppy to puppy. Adoption Details The adoption fee for each puppy is $800. All puppies are up to date on ageâappropriate core vaccinations , have been microchipped , and have been dewormed multiple times , ensuring they are off to a healthy and happy start. If a puppy is not spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, adopters will be required to sign a spay/neuter contract, with surgery scheduled at EACH to be determined date in May. The cost of the neuter is included in the adoption fee. In accordance with New York State Agriculture & Markets Law § 377A, there will be an additional $35 refundable fee, which will be returned once the puppy has been spayed or neutered. To help set adopters and puppies up for success, Pixie Mamas Rescue is providing two free training classes in May through On Your Best Behavior. These classes are offered at no cost to adoptive families, and a $50 refund will be issued upon completion of both classes as encouragement for early training and positive behavior development.
