🐾 Meet Murphy — The Smartest, Sweetest Long-Legged Lab Mix! 🐾 Murphy is a 1-year-old neutered Lab mix who truly has it all: brains, heart, and the goofiest set of long, gangly legs you’ve ever seen! This handsome boy weighs 23.2 kg (51 lbs) and is ready to find a family who can keep up with his smarts and his zoomies. Murphy came to us from a loving home that put a ton of time and training into him. He knows “Go to your bed,” “Sit,” “Down,” and “Stay,” and he’s also kennel trained—seriously, this boy is a dream student! He was surrendered only because his previous family could no longer provide the daily exercise a young lab like Murphy needs to stay happy and healthy. Murphy can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, he becomes your loyal, lifelong shadow. He’s a classic Lab in all the best ways—treat-motivated, eager to please, and wonderfully trainable. Because he couldn’t get out for regular walks in his previous home, some new experiences are still a little scary. But we’re helping him build confidence every day, and his forever family can continue this journey with him. If you're looking for a smart, sweet, active companion who will love you with everything he’s got, Murphy just might be your guy.
