Meet Stormy! 🐾💛 If your dream dog is a loyal, affectionate Golden girl who wants to be your best friend and follow you everywhere, you need to meet Stormy. ❤️ Stormy is a 6-year-old Golden Retriever mix with a playful side that comes out the second you grab a ball. This girl LOVES fetch—and she actually brings it back! 🎾 She'll happily chase it again and again, then settle in to spend the rest of her time right by your side. She's also got a few tricks up her sleeve! Stormy knows sit and shake... although sometimes you have to convince her that performing on command is actually worth her time. 😂 Stormy is potty trained, doesn't chew up your things, and is an all-around easy girl to have around the house. More than anything, though, she loves her people. She's a total Velcro dog who wants to follow you from room to room, hang out while you're doing things around the house, and soak up every bit of affection you're willing to give her. Stormy was adopted from the Amarillo shelter as a puppy but found herself back there six years later. After losing the only home she'd known, she's become pretty attached to her people—and this girl would really prefer not to share the spotlight. She's a bit of a jealous girl when another dog is getting her person's attention, but she's responsive to redirection. We think she'd be happiest as someone's one-and-only dog where she doesn't have to worry about competing for attention. And cats? Stormy has officially voted no thank you. 😂 She'll need a cat-free home. Stormy is also still working through some separation anxiety after everything has changed in her life. She may bark when left alone and will need someone willing to give her time to settle in and learn that her people always come back. 🎾 Fetch enthusiast—and professional ball returner 🧠 Knows sit & shake (when properly motivated 😂) 🏠 Potty trained ✨ Not destructive ❤️ Champion cuddler & Velcro dog 🐱 Needs a cat-free home 👑 Would love to be your one-and-only 💕 Looking for someone who doesn't mind being VERY loved Stormy has so much love to give. She just needs someone who's been looking for a dog that wants to give all of it to them. ❤️
