Murphy is a 6yo, 45 lb Irish Doodle acquired from a breeder in Jan 2020 (no return policy). Due to a return to in-person work and my aging mother no longer being physically able to manage him, we are rehoming him to ensure he gets the care he needs.Adjectives: Affectionate, smart, loyal, house-trained. Aside from specific triggers, he is sweet and a joy in the home.Behavioral Disclosure:• Resource Guarding / Bite History: Guards high-value items (trash, stolen objects). Will not "drop" and has bitten my mother and me when we tried to retrieve items. Needs swap-out strategies and secure management.• Reactivity: Reactive to moving cars/bikes on walks.• Daycare: Dismissed from doggy daycare for aggressive humping.Ideal Home: An adult-only home with an experienced handler who understands behavioral management and positive reinforcement. He will thrive in a calm, structured environment with clear boundaries and active lifestyle.
