Story
Faline is a sweet-natured little pup who was found, muddy and wet, around midnight on Christmas Eve. She had a bit of a cough and the Good Samaritan who found her in Watsonville brought her to safety at the emergency vet clinic. We`ve kept her safe, and her cough is getting better, but no one has claimed her. Maybe she`s just the sweet, slightly mischievous holiday treat you and your family need to start 2026 right? Faline will need positive training and guidance along with plenty of play and exercise, like every puppy does, to become a wonderful companion, but mostly she just needs a loving, cozy home that will keep her safe! She`ll likely be around 20 lbs as an adult, active and intelligent.The shelter is open every day from 11 to 6, and all dog adoptions include a $200 Pawsitivity Bucks voucher from the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation so you can have a few sessions with a positive reinforcement trainer to learn how to understand and communicate well with your new canine friend!
