Just over a year old, she came to us after being heartbreakingly dumped in the Central Valley with her sister—but despite her rough start, Shiloh’s spirit remains soft, trusting, and full of quiet affection. True to her Irish Wolfhound roots, Shiloh is a gentle giant in the making: calm, thoughtful, and deeply people-oriented. She has a sweet, sensitive nature and bonds closely with her humans, preferring to stay nearby and take comfort in companionship. She’s not over-the-top or chaotic—rather, she carries herself with an easy grace and a peaceful presence that makes her a joy to be around. Shiloh is still young and continuing to grow into herself, but she already shows the classic Wolfhound traits of loyalty, kindness, and a mellow temperament. She enjoys leisurely walks, soft places to nap, and being part of daily life. With patience, love, and gentle guidance, she will absolutely flourish into a devoted, steady companion. Shiloh would do best in a home that appreciates a large, sensitive dog and is ready to give her the stability and affection she’s always deserved. Sasha is a beautiful 1-year-old female Irish Wolfhound mix with a gentle heart and a calm, loving presence. True to her breed mix, she’s affectionate, patient, and wonderfully sweet with her people. Sasha has been doing great in her foster home and has really impressed us with how adaptable she is. She’s surprisingly excellent on leash—walking at an easy pace without pulling—and she rides well in the car. She’s also a quiet girl who almost never barks, making her a peaceful companion. With other dogs, Sasha is polite and thoughtful. She can be a little timid at first, but she’s not fearful and will gently sniff and say hello if the other dog is calm. She’s been lovely with kids, showing a patient, tolerant nature and a big, gentle soul. She has a moderate energy level, enjoys treats, and seems quite trainable. She even handled a bath and air-dry like a champ. Like many young dogs, she’ll benefit from some continued training—especially to discourage counter-surfing and chewing—but she’s eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement. Sasha is a special girl who will thrive in a home ready to guide her as she grows into an amazing lifelong companion. 💕
