Turkey Lurkey plays beautifully with other dogs and is submissive and respectful, making him a wonderful canine companion. He is very well-behaved in his kennel. On leash, he walks well but does have some youthful enthusiasm, so he may pull a bit when excitement takes over (because the world is just THAT interesting). K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs.
