Meet Pugsley Adams, the fun-sized treat that’s ready to steal your heart! He is the sweet son of Gomez Adams, who you can learn more about here. The Adams boys were surrendered when Pugsley’s mom gave birth to him and his littermates this past winter, but they are not a bonded pair. Pugsley is a playful and active puppy, ready to bring so much fun and laughter to his fur-ever home. He loves his time outdoors, squeaky toys, and a bit of roughhouse and chase! He loves having a doggie play buddy, but would also do well as an only. He’s a smart and affectionate puppy who hopes his new family is ready for fun adventures. He has been great with meeting kids, but is very fragile and we don't recommend him for a home with small kids. Pugsley is working hard on his housetraining, but he does not love the crate. He has been left alone for 3-4 hours free roaming. He walks well on the leash and even enjoys car rides. He was nervous when meeting cats in the shelter but could potentially be ok with a calm kitty with slow introductions. We highly recommend obedience training for all of our dogs, especially puppies like Pugsley. Training is a great way to bond with your new family member and reinforce basic commands while building confidence, developing social skills and having fun.
