Welcome Monica to CCPAL Rescue. Monica is a 2 year old Flat Coated Fox Terrier/Italian Greyhound is our best guess. She is a mix of breeds we are sure. She weighs about 15 pounds. She was found on the street big and pregnant. Her pups all look very different. Some are fluffy and some are not. She is a wonderful dog. She doesn’t jump up, is good with other dogs, good in a crate and good on a leash. She is also nice in her kennel and was the very best and most attentive momma. She isn’t very vocal which is wonderful and would make an easy dog to bring into some family. She has weaned her pups and will be spayed soon and ready for her very own forever home. She does her business outside on a leash and she is just the most wonderful dog. Some dogs are easy in Rescue and she is one of those dogs. She is in Texas with the CCPAL Rescue. She would be a great walking or jogging companion due to her long legs. She is a moderate to low shedding dog. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Meet Thurman! 🐾❤️ Thurman is 1 year old and 38 pounds of what we can only describe as a mini Shepherd and a little Texas street-dog magic mixed in! Thurman was found as a stray, very thin and with much of his hair missing. But underneath that sad outer appearance was the happiest, smartest, sweetest puppy just waiting to shine. And shine he does! He is incredibly good-natured, loving, and gentle, with an old-soul look in his eyes that will absolutely melt your heart. Thurman loves people, is social with other dogs, and has such an easy sweetness about him. And because he is clearly a well-bred Texas gentleman, Thurman even crosses his front legs when he lies down—because good manners are important! 🤠😂 This handsome boy has already come such a long way, and now his outside is finally starting to match the beautiful dog that was hiding inside all along. Thurman is ready for a family who will look into those soulful eyes and say, “You’re home.”
