I am Josephine Lily Moonwhisker, an 9 month old Bengal & Tabby mix with soft silver fur and bright green eyes. I’m shy and cautious in new surroundings, and because I survived a difficult start in life, I need an adopter who truly understands that trust takes time. I was rescued from underneath a burned home, and I’m hoping someone special will give me the chance to start over. I am looking for someone experienced in acclimating kittens who are playing catch-up — a patient person who can provide a calm environment and support me as I build confidence at my own pace. With reassurance and consistency, my affectionate, cuddly, and super playful personality begins to shine through. I get along with other cats, or I could thrive as an only cat where I can receive lots of attention. Most of all, I’m hoping to find someone with a big heart — the kind of person who wants to change the life of a kitty who might otherwise be overlooked because she needs extra time and support to acclimate. I know I’m not the easiest kitten at first, but with patience and love, I promise to blossom.
