Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This big, beautiful boy is CHEETO, an Orange Tabby+Bengal, just 2 years old.  Cheeto was found struggling to get by in an industrial area alone, and was nearly starved to death when we brought him inside.  We could feel every bone!  Now 3 months later, he has been eating well, has gained weight and he is feeling fine!  He is a big boy, now with regular meals he is up to about 13 or 14 pounds.  Being part Orange Tabby, he has lots of personality!  He is intelligent, observant, and quite the talker!  Despite his very scary start, Cheeto loves his people and is quite affectionate!  He will rub your legs, push his head into your hands when you pet his head and neck, make lots of cute, friendly sounds when he sees you, and then follow you around.  He will lay on his back with legs stretched out all comfy and cute, looking at you with his eyes relaxed and partly closed (see photos).  Being part Bengal, Cheeto’s favorite thing is being extra playful and active! (See his video!) He has a lot of energy, and loves when you play with him and he can rush around chasing wand toys or strings.  When you are busy, Cheeto will happily play with toys on his own.  Cheeto gets sweetly attached to his person, yet he can also sometimes react to things and nip, so we think a great home for him is with someone who knows Bengal cats and will be patient as Cheeto continues learning that he does not have to struggle to survive anymore.  He will love a home with someone who wants to spend lots of time with a fun and unusual cat, playing and interacting with Cheeto’s playful and affectionate ways.  Cheeto has excellent litter box habits, was recently neutered, is up to date on his vaccinations and flea treatment, and tested FeLV negative.  This is a courtesy listing.  Cheeto is being fostered in Ventura.  For more information or to meet Cheeto, please email Cheeto’s foster mom at sharrison9@yahoo.com.
