This gentle sweetheart is a definite lap cat. Wherever his human companion is, he is not far behind. He’ll hop onto your lap and make some biscuits before curling up for a nap and some cuddles. Maverick will also keep you company throughout the night sleeping beside or on top of you. He loves food! He’s very vocal knowing that mealtimes are coming soon and/or when you’re preparing his meal. Wet food is his absolute favorite (especially the Friskies Lil Soups complements). He quivers his tail in excitement when he hears and sees you with a packet of soup.  You’d better be careful of your own food, too! He knows human food is not for him, but he will try anyways to get a nibble and give you a look of “why can’t I have some, too?”. Maverick sometimes plays with some toys but prefers companionship and cuddles from people. He uses the litterbox very well with the occasional tracking of litter, but no issues. He would love a home that would give him as much companionship, cuddles, pets, and food as he can ask for.
