Story
Dolle, an Arabian Mau, has had a rough go of it, shot in the spine living on the streets of Kuwait. Dolle does need some special care because of her incontinence. Once you get a routine down, it's actually pretty easy. Bonus! No litter box needed! Dolle is very sweet, but still a little nervous from her travels. She is hand shy so moving slowly with her at first is best. Dolle loves pets, especially ear rubs. And she enjoys scooting around. Her foster in Kuwait says she gets along great with other cats. If a snuggly tv time buddy is what you are after, Dolle is your girl! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FeLV negative. Dolle is FIV+. FIV is a feline-only virus that lowers a cat's immune system. With regular vet check-ups, many FIV+ kitties live long lives. FIV+ kitties can live with other cats as long as there is no fighting, as the virus is only passed through deep bites.

Story
Meet Anakin our one eyed grandpa! Annie has quite the long story and has come so far from his days on the street in Kuwait. He was found in terrible shape with a necrotic cheek and infected eye. Both are now healed, and give him that unique look we all love. Although he’s a senior, he still loves to play and the feathered mouse toy is Annie’s absolute favorite. Because he’s lost all his teeth, you can be sure to find his favorite mouse all wet with saliva as he gums it to death (shh, we tell Annie that yes, he definitely killed that mouse!) This 18 pounder is on the shyer side and takes some time to warm up to his people and routine. He’ll never be a cat that can be picked up, but he is a sucker for any kind of pet or scratch he can get. He has recently been sitting in his foster mom’s lap! A head rub is the quickest way to make amends and Annie has never been known to hold a grudge long. He adores the company of humans, he just needs a human that understands him. Annie has some ongoing skin issues on his neck that requires a steroid pill to be administered once every 3 days (this would cost about $4 a month- and he eats his dose right out of a Churu!) This can be evaluated or hopefully at some point stopped completely with the guidance of both you and his vet. His ideal family will be cat free (Annie has been known to like kittens but doesn’t get along with any of his foster brothers), patient, deeply understanding, loving, and will have a good relationship with a vet (Annie is also FIV+ so always good to keep an extra eye on his health).
