Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rosey is a large-breed puppy who weighed in at 20 lbs at just 12 weeks, so yes she’s going to be a big girl! Her mom is an Old English Sheepdog and her dad is a Black Russian Terrier, giving her that perfect mix of fluff, smarts, and big-pawed charm. Rosey is about 80% potty trained, sleeps through the night, and will whine when she needs to go out. She already knows how to sit on command and is very treat-motivated. She’s teething, so having plenty of chew toys around keeps her happy (and keeps your stuff safe!). This girl loves everyone and everything. She plays great with other dogs, shares toys, and is full of joyful, goofy puppy energy. She can be a little dramatic if she doesn’t like something, she’ll “complain” with a funny little grunt (not a growl). She’s also a total foodie. Rosey eats with enthusiasm and will try to help herself to her friends’ bowls, so she’s currently fed separately and uses a slow-feed bowl. Rosey’s coat is super soft with very minimal shedding, and she hands out kisses generously! Just know her kisses sometimes turn into tiny teething nibbles. She’s curious about everything, growing fast, and still has no idea how big she is becoming. Puppy-proofing is a must! Routine & Home Life: Rosey has not been crated because her foster is home all the time. She has full access to the yard all day, and she absolutely loves being outside, especially when the weather is cooler. Her daily schedule looks like: 6 AM: potty & breakfast 4 PM: dinner 10 PM: bedtime She sleeps through the night and wakes when she needs to go out. Rosey is incredibly sweet and affectionate, but she does get excited and can jump up on people, so she’ll need continued consistent training to help her learn polite greetings. She’s playful, loving, energetic, and full of joy and she sleeps in the funniest way: pressed up against the wall, which you’ll just have to see to appreciate. Rosey is ready to bring tons of love, laughter, and big-puppy happiness to her forever home. She will thrive with an adopter who has experience with large or giant-breed dogs, and will require continued commitment to training and socialization, and this will be a big part of application screening as we want to set you both up for success! Important Adoption Note: Because Venus is expected to grow into a very large adult dog, we are only accepting applications from current homeowners for her. This is not a standard requirement for our rescue, and renters are absolutely welcome to apply for our other dogs. For Poppy specifically, we want to avoid potential issues with breed/weight restrictions or lease limitations as she grows. The adoption donation is $260 and will include spay, microchip and age appropriate vaccines.  Please follow the link below to submit an application:  https://bit.ly/3GDeyyoVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 11, 2025, 10:57 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Poppy is an adorable fluffball who is destined to be a big girl, thanks to her Old English Sheepdog mama and Black Russian Terrier dad. Her foster family lovingly calls her Pop-Tart, Pop Princess, K/Cake Pop, and even Mrs. Papadopoulos because she’s just that special. Poppy is the perfect mix of feisty, playful, smart, and snuggly. She loves to romp around with her big pittie foster brother and sometimes gets so excited she forgets her leash manners, but she’s learning! She enjoys walks, outdoor playtime, and will thrive in a home with a yard. Training? She’s already ahead of the game. Crate trained and sleeps through the night Wakes around 6 AM for a potty break, & happily cuddles for another hour on weekends Already knows “sit” and now offers it when she wants something Working on “down” and general patience, which is tough when you’re excited about everything Food-motivated in the best way she hasn’t met a treat she doesn’t like No concerning destructive chewing, especially with proper alternatives House training in progress and going well Most importantly, Poppy is a total cuddle bug who adores people. She loves to snuggle, learn, explore, and be near her humans. Important Adoption Note: Because Poppy is expected to grow into a very large adult dog, we are only accepting applications from current homeowners for her. This is not a standard requirement for our rescue, and renters are absolutely welcome to apply for our other dogs. For Poppy specifically, we want to avoid potential issues with breed/weight restrictions or lease limitations as she grows. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, fun puppy who will grow into a big, loyal best friend, Poppy is your girl. She’s ready to bring joy, play, and endless snuggles into her forever home! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This stunning girl is the total package of sweet, smart, and going to be BIG! Her mom is an Old English Sheepdog and her dad is a Black Russian Terrier, and at just 12 weeks she already weighed 20 lbs. She’s on track to grow into a very large adult, so we’re looking for an adopter comfortable with giant-breed pups. Venus is almost fully potty trained and does great going out every 3–4 hours during the day. When left home alone, she stays in a gated area and has had zero issues with her routine! She has tons of puppy energy, so a fenced yard and an active home will suit her best. She is very treat-motivated, loves learning, and is doing really well with her leash-walking practice. Venus loves food so much that she eats from a slow feeder to help her pace herself. She can get excited when greeting new people and may jump up to say hello, so continued training will be important as she grows. Venus will thrive with an adopter who has experience with large or giant-breed dogs, and who’s ready for a happy, enthusiastic, goofy companion. She is truly a gem and will make an incredible addition to the right family! She will require continued commitment to training and socialization, and this will be a big part of application screening as we want to set you both up for success!
