Story
Raya turned 1 year old this month, and she was adopted early March. While the majority of her past is unknown, we do know she was a stray in Flint. Raya loves the outdoors, car rides in particular, and she is extremely smart. Our reason behind rehoming her is due to her behavior and for her well-being. She is starting to escalate to aggression and snapping. She hasn't become severe or hostile, but she has a specific pattern of getting rough when you're attempting to control her or take hold of her collar. She does not like being told what to do and getting her to relax has been very difficult. Raya is also very easily overstimulated. This is most likely the reason behind her aggression. During normal hours of the day, when out and about, she is very excitable and hyper. But when placed in a quiet room alone or with one other person, she settles right down. I strongly believe that the right home and person can really bring the best out of her. Devastatingly, we're not the ones.
