I'm Sunny, a female 4-year-old Shetland Sheepdog mix. My journey has been a bit tough, having once been neglected while tied up tightly, playing the role of a guardian at a factory. I absolutely adore people and have a friendly, affectionate nature. Even with strangers, I'll nuzzle up, asking for some gentle pets. I'm great with kids, too! However, I must admit, I get a tad jealous around other dogs, and I might be growl to them during mealtime. That's why I think a home where I can be the only furry friend would be best. With a high energy level, I thrive on outdoor activities. A good run around the yard will keep me calm and content. I do pull on the leash during walks, but with some patient guidance, I'm sure I can learn to be a well-behaved walker. Rescued from a challenging past, I'm now seeking a family who can provide the love and attention I deserve. If you're ready for a loyal companion who will brighten your days, look no further. She also sits and waits for her food bowl to be set down. Quiet in her room,day and night. But dont let that quiet fool you.. she loves to play outside and would love a playmate who is fun loving but not dominant; She likes to be the boss. House trained. Working on leash, she likes to pull but is not ridiculous.  Sugar is as sweet as her name and is a real doll. Sorry no cats for her, she would chase. She would be a great only dog or a would enjoy a playmate who let's her be the boss and has equal enthusiasm for play: She is better with males. Sugar is a real gem.
