He has a calm nature and would thrive in a home that appreciates a laid-back companion who enjoys simply being near his people. Prince previously experienced some conflict with a resident cat, so slow, thoughtful introductions to any new pets or environments will be important for his success. He may do best in a home that can provide plenty of enrichment to keep him mentally and physically engaged. Prince also seems to enjoy aspects of an outdoor lifestyle from his time as a stray, so a safe, supervised indoor-outdoor setup—or enriching indoor alternatives—could be a great fit for him. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions.
