Oriental kittens & cats in Alpine, Texas

Meet Jewel!Jewel came into the shelter on August 18th as a transfer from Big Bend Pets.Jewel is a little cautious when meeting new people but tries her best to warm up quickly when you first meet her. However, after a day or two, she is sweet, kind, and loves to rub up against you so she can show you, her affection. Jewel is definitely a kitten with an old soul and loves to live in a simple, quiet manner. She reminds our staff of a bookworm who loves to read and observe the world around her from the comfort of her own home.Jewel is great about keeping a clean kennel and always shares her space, blankets, and toys with her sibling, Blossom. She hasn’t shown much interest in toys or treats; however, you can sometimes catch her playing with Blossom when no one is looking. And on special occasions, she will accept a Churu tube. She is a quiet, calm, beautiful girl who is an individualist and loves to manage her own life but never minds the company of a friend. Our staff says that their favorite thing about Jewel is her indescribable beauty, her calmness, and her ability to steal your heart by just looking at her.Come meet Jewel today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.
