At 2 years old and 35 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion with a calm, confident personality and a heart that’s always open for her people. Carli absolutely adores humans of all sizes — kids, adults, visitors, you name it. She loves being part of the family and has a gentle, steady presence that makes her a joy to live with. She’s affectionate without being demanding and always seems to know when it’s time for a walk… and when it’s time to relax. 🐶 Carli’s “Just Right” Qualities: ✔️ Housebroken and crate trained ✔️ Dog-door savvy (she’s very independent like that) ✔️ Walks beautifully on a leash ✔️ Calm, easygoing, and well-mannered ✔️ Up-to-date on vaccines and spayed When it comes to canine friends, Carli prefers dogs her size or larger (35 lbs and up). Kids adore Beto and Pantera, and they reciprocate that love wholeheartedly. She is looking for a nice Wired Haired Terrier experienced family with a securely fenced yard. She will do well with any dog her size or she can be the only dog. She loves humans, kids, dog beds, car rides, walks and playing toys. She is a tad shy at first, but she warms up quickly to new people. She will do best in a home where family is active and house noise level is not high. No apartments please. Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society.
